A stroll by the beach..

Went for a stroll by the beach yesterday..
Well, my plan to visit the Marine Park & Bird Park was cancelled..
According to Kube, there's a bird park in the Alpha Dorm. Hell, I don't wanna know..

We only went for a stroll at the beach..practically the whole day..
Saidy, Kube, Kok, How Siang [have no idea how to spell his name]...
We took a lot of pictures...
Will upload them up soon..
Right now I have a meeting to attend..

It's Saturday..

It's Saturday..
A day where there is nothing to do..
Even worse, NOBODY wanna accompany me to explore Labuan.
My room mate is out with her Christian buddies, touring Labuan..
Should have tagged along...But anyway, I'm coming out with my own plans.
I'm not gonna ruin my adventurous day..
I'm gonna make my day interesting even by myself..
But it's gonna be better with people around..


I woke up at 7.30 am today to shower, do my laundry..
By 10, there's no more water supply..until tonight. Lucky me! See..it's planning..
Anyway, I'm gonna be dehydrated at the dorm...
It drives me crazy when everyone wanna stay at home!
Well fine! I'll go explore Labuan by myself..
Those who wanna tag along..let's go!!
I took the 11am school bus to campus..
Here I am, again at the MegaLab checking my facebook; updating my blog.
I'm gonna go for a stroll by the beach..
Though its freaking HOT!! but who cares!! I'm gonna enjoy myself today.
I have my shades, my sunblock with me..so, I won't get burn.. =)


Kube's in the library..Syasya's in the dorm..Said's doing laundry..Abby's out..
Well, I wouldn't wanna bother them..
So guess I'm going to beach by myself first..

A beginning of new chapter...

Life gets more exciting day by day..
I get to know a lot of new people..
Kuberan, Voon Ming, Abby, Jac, Lynn,Wan, Farhan, Shasha, Said, Kin Meng, Suffian, Izat, Ivy, Cai Yi, Siva, and more...
They're so funny and friendly..Really glad to know all these people..

To Kube : "I will work hard on my 3D Animation and create a game for you..=) Chasing Kube!..

Since classes just started, there's nothing much to do in the dorm but sleeping and eating, and I couldn't go online.
I'm so gonna put on weight soon..damn!..
University is not a place to fool around..
So, gotta work hard and score well...

Hey guys..
My 8am class was cancelled..So, here I am, at the Mega Lab blogging..
7a.m here is like 8 - 9a.m in Penang..
Couldn't help taking my eyes of the view here in the campus.
Hey, its a Beach Campus, and you can see the sea on the way down to the school.

I finally managed to empty my humongous luggage and keep it all in the cupboard..
Being far away from home, I realize that I start to think positively about everything.
Blessing in disguise...
I told myself, to enjoy every minute I'm here..
With my friends, and new people I know from all over the states in Malaysia.
It's really fun to randomly jump in front of someone to say Hi!!!

I made few more new friends..my community is expanding! =)
I have another class later at 10.30am..
I'm gonna work hard..to study and to score well in exam.

Hello Sabah!

Hey people..
It has been more than a week I'm here in Sabah.
Was in Kota Kinabalu for registration and orientation. Right now I'm in Labuan.
I'm pursuing Multimedia Technology, in Sekolah Sains Informatik Labuan (SSIL) in Universiti Malaysia Sabah ; Labuan International Campus.

I came here alone. When I first reached here, I fell sick.
Vomited 4 times and I couldn't eat anything. And ever since, I've been having gastric.
Before I came here, I thought I could be strong and all, but..I was wrong!
I cried the first 2 days..I got so vulnerable when I'm sick..I want to be with my friends and family.
Hearing their voices on the phone, made me realize that these people are really important to me.
I didn't know it, until I left to somewhere far from home..
I don't feel good at all when I first came here...But I managed to get through it all now..
Making new friends is really important, to keep you're mind away from things that makes you feel sad.
Furthermore, friends that I know from Penang that came here as well, have their own friends..
So basically, I have to create my own community from square one.

I make friends pretty easily..
I was lucky to get a pretty clean dorm, and a nice room mate. Her name is Shelisa, from Labuan.
From her, I got to know more people..Jenny, Siau San, Sandra and Shazila..
Shel and I had the washrooms to ourselves as we don't have any house mates..

I had sleepless nights, gastric, 2 hours sleep everyday during the orientation week in Kota Kinabalu.
Walked to and fro to the Dewan Canselor everyday.. Its a 68 million hall, very comfortable and beautiful.
I walked to 1Borneo Hypermall, just outside our Uni with Shel and the rest to catch Transformer 2 with Shel and the rest.. It was more than an hour walk.
It was tiring..every single day...

2 days ago, I reached Labuan. The ferry ride was pretty cool..
Our ride was delayed from 4pm to 6pm. We reached the jetty around 3+,
And we board the ferry at 8+!.. By the time we reached our new dorm, it was already late at night.
I had new room mate.. Her name is Abby from Sarawak.
The dorm is like apartment style..and our dorm is not in the campus. So better not miss the school bus!
I slept around 1.30am and woke up 3.45am to attend Kuliah Moral, which I think it was so unnecessary..

I'm now in the Mega Lab, checking out the time for our courses.
I'll blog soon when I settle down. My freaking huge luggage is still outside my room..

Ringworm Strikes 2

Its definitely not a title for an upcoming movie..

I'm sure most of you heard of ring worms.

Well, it's certainly not like the cute and adorable worm with squeaky voice in WORMS 3D.

"Ringworm is known by the medical term of tinea corporis. It is a common fungal infection that comes from microscopic organisms called dermatophytes. These organisms survive by consuming the dead outer layers of skin on humans and animals. The name comes from the fact that, originally, people believed that the infection came from a worm. Although it was later concluded that it did not, the name has stuck. However, the part of the name that does hold true is the fact that the ring worm rash forms an irregular circle on the skin, leaving normal-looking skin in the middle area, which gives the appearance of a ring. The infection makes it look like there is a worm curled up under the skin’s surface. You may have also heard ringworm referred to as “jock itch” or “athlete’s foot.” This means that the person either has ringworm on their groin area or on their feet."

Oh yes..the ringworm strikes again..
I guess, in my case..it's call the athlete's foot..
This is the 2nd time I got infected. The first time was 2 times bigger than this.
I stepped on a pool of rain water. It's really itchy, and I can't help scratching my feet.
Hey scratching is really normal if you feel itchy right.
Furthermore, you can't possibly see a ringworm with your naked eye.
Soon it started to form a ring.
Sometimes, you can feel as if there's a worm moving beneath the skin. Itchy!
And the more you scratch it, you will feel some sticky fluids on the middle surface of the area.

This time is because of my sport shoe.
I wore it to work everyday, and my ankle-level-socks definitely make things worse;
leaving the higher part of my ankle exposed to the sponge of my sport shoe.
Well, the processes repeated. And this time I managed to figure it out earlier.

The white color thing is the medicine I applied.

My dad got this from the pharmacy. My feet recovered the first time after applying it to my feet. You will feel the burning sensation seconds after you apply it.
The skin will dry up and starts to crack and peel off after a few days.
Its not like the normal dried up skin you get whenever you got a small wound.
It's totally different. I took a peek under the cracked dried up skin..
I saw little dots on the surface. I don't wanna know what cause the dots!

I went to see a doctor the first time.
Tropica Clinic, near the UMNO building.
No scar from the first infection.

See..worms are just not cute!

Updates :

I went to see the doc. Doc said the medicine I applied is too acidic.
Damn! Maybe I applied too many times.
He gave me a purple solution and cream to apply.
Hope it gets better.

Newbie in my Hobby-Land

I finally found a slot for reading to exist in my hobby-land.
I managed to finish a book completely, which is a good start ;

Skin & Bone by Kathryn Fox

Well, I do read books, but never actually finish reading them.
As you can see, I bought the last two books of the Twilight Series, to complete my collection.
Well hello! Honey Hong actually spends her money on books now!

I'm reading Twilight. =)..Pffft..I'm slow..I know.
Never actually have the time to read,
since I have a few thick text books to study last year.
Now that I stopped my work, I have plenty of time to read the books that I bought.

I actually love spending time reading at home now.
It's like watching an episode of a movie before I go to bed.
All those intriguing lines keeps me going. Imagining it all in my head.

I'm a slow reader.
I actually read it all aloud, to practice my pronunciation and intonation;
Jot down the words that I don't understand and look for the meanings in the dictionary.
Which helps me to improve my English a lot.
Reading is fun! Exploring new words is even fun-ner! =)
